Izukata mo                  Though I search
Nokosazu yukite         Every field
Tazunu to mo             Overlooking nothing,
Hana wa minori no    All the flowers are but
Hana bakari koso      The flowers of the law.

Jien,1155-1225, poet, monk, chief abbot of Mt. Hiei on the Lotus Sutra as the unsurpassed vehicle that leads to enlightenment.
